The Prince and the Pauper

Drama and English program for kindergarten and elementary school

An annual program that combines sessions with an English-speaking hand puppet. The goal of the program is to expose young children to the English language in an experiential way while increasing their sense of competence and preparing the groundwork for learning the language in more mature audiences. During story time, viewers learn new songs and words in English.

Orit Farji, owner and actress

An educator with a bachelor's degree in English teaching, has been a teacher for over 17 years in the education system and is the coordinator of the English department at her school. PLC instructor - learning communities, and even won the title "Teacher of the Century". Graduated from the "Women's Theater" acting course in Harish.

Orit- "Years of working in the education system, led me to enjoy the combination of acting and drama as an integral part of the meaningful learning in classes. Playstage theater gave me the opportunity to take one step forward and ignite the stage sparks that are an inseparable part of me."

Reut Zahavi, owner and actress

She has a BA in Behavioral Sciences, an educational psychology track, and an English teaching certificate. Reut came to teaching English after retraining from management positions in placement companies. She is a school excellence leader and coordinator of the English department at the school where she teaches. She has experience as an English language consultant for a children's series at "Kan Edikit" and as a creator of English content for curricula for Israeli children.

Reut - "My passion for stories and plays simply led me to theater. I found myself naturally incorporating acting and theatricality into English classes, and our theater gave it professional validity."

Oren Limor

Sound technician and technical operator. Has experience as a music editor and facilitator of workshops and lectures on music.

My name is Marina Oxman, I am an English coordinator at the Huberman School, Petah Tikva. At the end of the school year, in June, our school held a peak English day and I commissioned the play “Jack and the Beanstalk” as part of the English language enrichment program. Jack and the Beanstalk – in my opinion, is a unique musical play for the following reasons: A well-known children's story based on a classic English fairy tale: Jack, a poor country boy, trades the family cow for a handful of magical beans, which grow into a huge beanstalk that reaches the clouds. Jack climbs the beanstalk and finds himself in the castle of an unfriendly giant. Orit and Reut, two talented actresses, presented the story in a wonderful version with a lot of humor and interaction with the audience of students. The play is fun and flowing, combining clear language for elementary school students and professionally performed songs that are not always seen in children's plays, songs in the English language. The musical arrangement, costumes, and set worked excellently and are especially noteworthy. The actresses who play the characters have a lot of energy and talent that swept the audience of students at our school. Bottom line - an amazing show that both the students and the teachers enjoyed.

I would like to recommend a stunning new show by 2 talented and charming actresses! They are actually English teachers who raised the gauntlet to make English accessible to us, teachers, and schools at the elementary age in a fun, fluid and experiential way! The show is great! Beautiful setting, good music, fascinating plot. The sentences and the text are in a language that is pleasant to the ear and receptive to all levels! Within the text are woven a lot of vocabulary that the children know and of course new words and thus there is an answer to all levels! So don't hesitate.. We had fun and brought the show as part of English Day, but the show is suitable for the whole year. So.. enjoy

During this year, as part of a peak week in English, I ordered the show Jack and the beanstalk. The show was wonderful and included two insanely talented actresses, an elaborate set and songs. The actresses spoke only in English and conveyed everything in an exceptional way so that even the struggling students were able to understand and enjoy themselves. It is evident that all the students enjoyed the enriching and educational show.
